Has anyone ever had a $777 hamburger or is this just a gimmick?
Le Burger Brasserie at the Paris Las Vegas offers a Kobe beef and Maine lobster burger with caramelized onions, imported brie cheese, prosciutto, 100-year aged balsamic vinegar and a bottle of Rose Dom Perignon Champagne or Chateau "Latour" 1982 Bordeaux, all for just $777. (Fries extra)
I just got back from Las Vegas and ate there. I had "Le Bleu," with blue cheese, avocado and smoked bacon.
I just wonder if anyone has ever heard of someone ordering the $777 burger? Do they grind it fresh daily just in case someone wants it?
I know about Kobe beef and how the cattle are handled. My question was does anyone really order it as a hamburger and how can the restaurant keep it in stock and fresh?
Although I have never heard of the $777 but I do know that there is a resturant in NYC that serves a $1000 hamburger. It has black truffle on the sandwich. For that much money I hope that the burger is good!!!
